José Colomer: 6 years in prison and a fine of 40 million

José Colomer: 6 years in prison and a fine of 40 million

Barça, in the absence of Mendizorroza’s match, has added 50 points at the Estadi and 29 away. In 2018-19 he achieved 48 at the Camp Nou and 39 as a visitor.

10. Fewer points since the 2007-08 League

If they defeat Alavés on the last matchday, Barça will reach 82 points, the lowest figure since Frank Rijkaard’s last season: 67 points (third place). The year ended without titles.

Griezmann already points to Naples

End to Arturo Vidal’s streak of eight league titles in a row

In the current season, Valverde achieved 40 points in the 19 rounds of the first round; Setién now has 39 and could reach 42.

The situation of Sergio Busquets and his replacement in the game against Leganés, argued by Valverde for having a yellow card, did not like Luis Suárez, the former Barcelona player, among other clubs, and the only Spanish Ballon d’Or. Luis Suárez came out in defense of Sergi Busquets in an interview with Cadena Ser’s ‘Carrusel Deportivo’ program.

Sergio Busquets

"He’s a very good kid. If I am at this time and they do to me what they are doing to Busquets …", commented the former player, to add about his substitution and before knowing the arguments of Ernesto Valverde, Barcelona coach, that "If there is no physical problem, there comes a time when I take the president and tell him: you don’t do this to me, because if I don’t go".

Aguirre: "In November there is no team relegated"

An appeal by Busquets would have very little margin of success

In this sense, Luis Suárez did not shut up and added to his criticisms of Valverde’s decision that "After ten years that I have been working at a high level, he cannot treat me like the first to come from Hospitalet or Granollers. You are making a mistake and you are losing it. The problem is that Barcelona loses it, Valverde does not lose it".

In this second installment of the extensive interview with Sandro Rosell, who presents his book ‘A strong embrace’ where he reviews the 645 days he was in jail, we talk about his case, the circumstances that surrounded him and some very controversial proper names , like Judge Carmen Lamela. All the profits from the sale of his book will go to the Father Paulino Foundation, for the legal assistance of prisoners without resources.

Sandro Rosell: If I was Barça president, I would sign Neymar again

On the table in his office a Barça mask and an orange notebook. The same model that he used every day in jail to record the injustice he had experienced in his diary. In almost two years locked up, he completed twelve large notebooks.

Do you think you have been the victim of persecution?

Definitely. When you are accused of something that did not happen, but if it had happened, it was not a crime twelve years ago, between private entities, when there is no complaint and everything is done through an ex officio accusation, you can only think that there is a montage behind.

Was false evidence ‘fabricated’ to harm you?

False accounts, sure, yes. And there dubious documents have appeared.

Do you accuse the state of being corrupt?

What I am saying is that the system, a part of the State, works with its own laws, which are not the laws that we all have. And what I have done is to sue Judge Lamela for prevarication.

Is it worse to be in pretrial detention than sentenced?

It’s much worse. The anguish of not knowing the day your nightmare will end, activities that you cannot do, like, work … You also do not have the right to leave.

Was it all revenge?

It is what I would like to discover. Get to the bottom to find out what has happened. I am not saying that it was not an error of the judicial system, coincidentally, but it costs me infinite that it was that. .

Do you feel the most persecuted person in Spain, as you say in your book?

At that time yes. Now, I hope! Not anymore. I have been persecuted and investigated by the Civil Guard, the National Police and I have had 72 records of the Treasury. I would be surprised to meet someone more persecuted.

Everything for having been president of Barça and, also, Catalan?

It coincided that I was president of Barça and Catalan at a critical moment with Catalonia for Procès. Today being Catalan is stigmatized throughout Spain. Before everyone received you with open arms. And today they release you “for them.” And we are still the same as before.

He writes that both in jail and in life, you have to go unnoticed.

Come on, I do it! (laughs) A pity that for having been president of Barça you pay such a high price.

Also in Catalonia?

It is not good to be famous or have heritage. It is very bad. I don’t know if it’s envy, but all my friends who have a certain heritage, have the same opinion. You have to justify your success and your money.

How do you rate Judge Carmen Lamela?

In the book I say about her that she is unfriendly, not a hard worker, a very bad professional and that she is also a very bad person.

Did you feel aggrieved when Villar was released provisionally?

It was a scandal. I was glad that he got out of jail, let it be clear, but it is true that in the Villar issue, the alleged crime occurred in Spain, there was a complaint. In my case neither of those circumstances occurred. The comparison is brutal.

His mother and wife asked him to forget everything when he got out of jail, without grudges.

In jail he did feel a grudge, because living there is a bitch. In freedom, things dissolve and time passes. Today I have zero grudges, but I want to know what happened to my case.

Is being in jail a humility cure?

In prison you discover an underworld that you did not know existed. You do things that make you have both feet on the ground. A cure for humility, yes.

How do you feel about Father Paulino, for whom all the benefits of your book will go …

Infinite love. If there were more Pauline Fathers in the world, it would be much better for all of us. It is goodness personified. For 26 years, every day of his life, he has visited prisoners.

Thirteen refusals for parole. That awful!

That was the worst of all. The Prosecutor’s Office justified it by filtering lies to the press: what if Abidal’s liver, what if Qatar, what if the ship …

Have you gone back to jail?

Yes, with Joan Besolí to visit some inmates. Twice to Brians and once to Lledoners.

What was the first thing you did when you were released?

Apart from giving lots of hugs and kisses, I got to the hotel, went straight to the bar and drank a cold beer in one gulp.

He talks a lot about Jaume Roures in the book. He says that he has controlled the communication of this country.

Your communication company is on all fronts. That is a fact, not an opinion.

And that has all the investigative agencies controlled?

It is something that they explained to me, not that I affirm it. And if it is true, it is all a crack.

Did your father offer to drop the alleged espionage complaint if he admitted the facts?

To my lawyer. And I said no because I have never spied on anyone. I give my word of honor. It is not true unless a judge makes it up. That’s why I don’t have to agree to anything with Roures. In life I have learned that no blackmail is to be accepted.

In Brazil, the press highlighted that money was deposited into the accounts of Ricardo Teixeira’s children.

Teixeira loaned me money and he asked me to pay it back by giving it to his children. What illegality is there in it? This is what is called “paying on account of”.

FIFA has expelled Teixeira for life for corruption …

It’s another absolute manipulation. FIFA made that determination under pressure from the United States. Everything that has happened and has been said is a lie.

By the way, if you were to be president of Barça https://worldbets.top/en/1xbet/ again, which player would you sign?

To Neymar. He is the only player, along with Messi, who really makes a difference. He has a great personality on the field. Of course, I would make him two contracts. One sporty and one behavioral.

In preventive prison since May 25, 2017, the former president of FC Barcelona will finally be able to defend himself from the accusations that hang over him. We answer all your questions about the details of the trial:
